Coronation Street star tells how she wants Joel to be brought down over Lauren as she confirms 'end point'

Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has confirmed there will be an 'end point' to Joel Deering's secret reign over the young women he has been exploiting in Weatherfield as she shared how she wants the nasty character to be brought down.

Fans of the ITV soap only recently found out what really happened to Lauren Bolton prior to her sudden disappearance back in February. The teen went missing after being sacked from her job at Roy's Rolls before she was later visited by a mystery person, who viewers never got to see.

Soon after, Lauren was presumed dead and as the last known person to see her, and the fact he misguidedly cleaned her flat before blood was found on the curtains, it was Roy Cropper who was accused of being responsible and later spent time behind bars, charged with Lauren's murder.

However, in May it was confirmed that it was Joel Deering who was behind her disappearance and a shocking flashback clip revealed the solicitor as being Lauren's secret 'boyfriend' and saw him brutally attack her with a chair leg.

Then in recent scenes, it was revealed Lauren has amazingly survived the brutal bashing and confirmation she was alive came when she appeared at Roy Cropper's bedside after he suffered a heart attack in his beloved café after being confronted by a group of yobs over Lauren's disappearance and 'death'.

But when Lauren tried to make her exit without anyone seeing her, Joel accosted her and dragged her into a family room where they had an intense confrontation. With flashback clips throughout, viewers saw how Joel started helping Lauren with her bills,
