Coronation Street star Lisa George 'rescued' after feeling 'horrible' and left tearful
Coronation Street star Lisa George has been flooded with support after she admitted to feeling 'horrible' ahead of a big event. The actress is set to attend the Pride of Britain Awards, which take place on Sunday (October 8), and took to social media to share how she struggled to find an outfit.
But it wasn't simply about the outfit but how Lisa, who is known for playing Beth Sutherland - nee Tinker - in the ITV soap, actually felt. But she called on Debbie, the owner of Cinders Party Dress in Liverpool, who came to her 'rescue'. Sporting an Adidas top, red tracksuit jacket and black leggings, Lisa beamed for the camera. "My fairy godmother came to the rescue. Thank you so much @cinders_party_dress," she wrote alongside the post.

"How many women have declared 'I have nothing to wear???!!!' Well that was me..." she started the caption of her post. She explained: "So yesterday had a massive panic …all the dresses I had ordered for the forthcoming @prideofbritain awards this weekend weren’t right… I felt horrible in every single one, just didn’t feel comfortable- I made a phone call to @cinders_party_dress in
