Coronation Street's Paddy Bever told 'I love you' by co-star as fans swoon before jetting off on holiday together

Coronation Street star Paddy Bever left fans swooning as he ditched his cobbles alter-ego for a more swish appearance at the Britsih Soap Awards. The actor, who plays Max Turner in the ITV soap, joined a number of his co-stars and other soap favourites at the ceremony at The Lowry in Salford over the weekend.

Paddy, who last year triumphed when he bagged the award for Best Newcomer, took to Instagram the morning after the night before as he posed for a selfie in the mirror of his Corrie dressing room, just a stone's throw from where Jane McDonald took on hosting duties for the glamourous evening.

The soap star gave a little pout for the camera as he held up his phone to take the snap which showed him sporting a crisp, pale blue shirt with beige trousers. He also posted an additional photo from the red carpet which showed him smiling for the camera, this time donning a blazer over his shirt to match his trousers.

He simply captioned the post with two bar of soap emojis before the compliments came flooding in. Corrie's Jenny Connor actress replied: "FIT." While Cait Fitton, who recently played love interest Lauren in the long-running show, commented: "You absolute worldie."

And Paddy's fans and followers were also responding in their droves. @chloebaron32 said: "Beautiful Paddy." @dylan_fan_page111 commented: "Nice picture Paddy looking good." @psychictracey replied: "Wow check you out Paddy."
