Coronation Street's Jenny star teases new arrival on cobbles and says 'we have a list'

Coronation Street star Sally Ann Matthews has shared her hope for a new arrival on the cobbles as she admitted ‘we have a list’. The actress was keen to chat with fans of her and the ITV soap over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Sally Ann, known for playing Jenny Connor in the ITV soap, took to her Instagram Story with a 'type something' box as she said: "You know when you think no, not now, but do it anyway?" before she encouraged: "Go". But as the questions started to come in, Sally Ann hit a stumbling block.

She couldn’t figure out how to answer the questions and instead shared a string of images of herself and her beloved dog, the adorable border terrier Veto, as she said she had “no clue” what to do.

However, Sally Ann later had a breakthrough and was able to answer a string of interesting questions - mainly relating to life on the cobbles.

One of her followers asked about the storyline involving her on-screen former step-daughter Daisy Midgeley, played by Charlotte Jordan. They asked: “Are you a Daisy and Daniel ship or Daniel and Bethany?”

It comes after Daisy was dumped by her fiance Daniel Osbourne after her romantic liaisons with Ryan Connor were revealed. While the Rovers Return co-owner still held a torch for her ex, he was busy rekindling his romance with Bethany Platt after she made a return to Weatherfield at the turn of the New Year.
