Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney 'can't believe it' as she dazzles while becoming 'public enemy'

Claire Sweeney has told fans she 'can't beleive it' as a new Coronation Street twist involving her character aired while she was busy dazzling on a green carpet.

The actress was among the famous faces descending on London's Royal Festival Hall on Monday evening (November 18) for the UK premiere of Wicked, the new movie starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo which is released in cinemas this Friday (November 22).

Claire looked fabulous as she followed the pattern of the film's protagonist Elphaba Thropp, played by Cynthia, by sporting a glittering green jumpsuit which boasted a stunning plunging neckline and decadent feathered cropped sleeves.

She completed her look with a silver clutch bag and a red lipstick while wearing her blonde short locks with a slight curl. Captioning pictures of her appearance on the green carpet on Instagram, Claire said: "Fantastic night at @wickedmovie premiere."

Her Corrie co-star Sally Carman-Duttine was quick to respond, writing: "Adore you in that jumpsuit!" while her fans and followers quickly flooded her with compliments.

But while Claire was rubbing shoulders with movie stars, her on-screen alter-ego was being unmasked as Cassie Plummer's plan for Ken Barlow was uncovered.
