Coronation Street's Calum Lill wished 'luck' by fans as he says he's going to 'try and survive'

Coronation Street star Calum Lill has been flooded with good luck wishes as he revealed he's taking on a big challenge for a good cause. The actor, who plays Joel Deering in the ITV soap, took to social media to reveal he'll be taking part in the Royal British Legion's Survival Challenge 2024. A

According to the RBL, the challenge isn't for the faint-hearted. At the end of the week, the RBL says there will be a medal ceremony for the survivors alongside a short service with a moment to reflect on why those who signed up took on this incredible challenge for the Royal British Legion.

"The Royal British Legion, who raise money to help veterans, have put on a challenge where you go and live in a forest for five days and survive - build shelters, find food, cook food and get your own water - to raise money for them."

He continued: "So, I'm going to do it at the end of September, while it's getting really cold... It's going to be very cold if this [weather] is anything to go by. I'm going to be living outside, eating worms and slugs! If you could help me by donating and/or sharing it to your story, that'd be amazing. Thank
