Coronation Street horror as Evelyn Plummer is left in danger as she's taken hostage
There's horror for Evelyn Plummer in Coronation Street next week as she's taken hostage. It all starts this week when on the street, Evelyn witnesses a man mistreating his dog and remonstrates with him.
Roy Cropper comes to Evelyn’s aid but he’s terrified when Terry, the dog owner, turns on him instead. Evelyn's daughter Cassie comes to her mum and Roy’s rescue and Roy films Terry and the dog on Evelyn’s phone before Tyrone reports Terry to the police.
Later, an exhausted Evelyn admits to Roy she couldn’t sleep for worrying about the dog and before she knows it, Terry pulls up outside the charity shop. Evelyn watches, appalled, as he heads off leaving his dog alone in the van. And when Evelyn hears the dog whimpering in the back of the van and reaches a decision, hw will Roy react when she returns with the dog in tow?

As a new week begins, on Monday, December 11, at No.9, Hope and Ruby fuss over the dog and announce that they’ve named her Taylor, after Taylor Swift. Meanwhile, Terry corners Evelyn in the precinct but she denies knowing anything about his dog.
But Evelyn is horrified to find Cassie taking Taylor out for a walk and bundles them back into the house. Unbeknown to them, Terry watches from across the street and soon, Terry tracks down Evelyn to the shop and flipping the sign to ‘closed’, he bolts the door. T
