Coronation Street fans say 'please not' as they predict Toyah baby twist after tragic loss admission

Coronation Street fans appeared to be sure a new affair storyline could be on the cards - and they're not sure they want it to happen. Viewers of the ITV soap first made the suggestion that Nick Tilsley could betray Leanne Battersby by striking up a secret romance with her sister Toyah Habeeb earlier this week.

It came after Nick was the one to calm Toyah down after he found her smashing up the car of some of the internet sleuths who have been targeting Roy Cropper, certain he has killed Lauren Bolton following her sudden disappearance back in February.

Toyah was triggered after she found the men digging a spot in a local park that Roy's dog, Freddie, had paid an interest in. As they revealed that they saw Freddie digging in the same place, they also shared their theory that Roy may have buried Lauren’s body there. Toyah quickly saw red, picked up a shovel and smashed their car window whilst one of the sleuths filmed her on his phone.

Nick soon arrived and persuades Toyah to put down the shovel as she bursts into tears. Having returned home, Toyah railed at an upset Sam for losing Freddie in the first place with Nick firmly telling her not to shout at his son like that. Soon after, the police called at Victoria Court looking for Toyah.

After being questioned at the station, she later called in the flower shop and purchased a single yellow rose and when Joel asks who it’s for, Toyah claimed it was for Leanne. However, she was then seen heading back to where she found the sleuths digging and laying the rose down, she apologised through tears.
