Coronation celebrations LIVE pictures from Greater Manchester street parties with royals to join Big Lunch events

Celebrations for the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla continue today as street parties take place up and down the country. In Greater Manchester, communities across the region will come together on the long bank holiday weekend to mark the crowning of the new King and Queen.

We will have reporters out and about in Manchester city centre, Stockport, Bolton and across the region bringing you the latest as the celebrations take place. Brits have been urged to hold Big Lunch events to mark the coronation in a 'nationwide act of celebration and friendship', with more than 3,000 parties expected to take place in England across the weekend.

On Saturday, Charles and Camilla were crowned at a glittering Westminster Abbey service attended by more than 2,000 guests. A grand military procession through central London and an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace alongside other members of the royal family rounded off their momentous day.

Royal fans gathered in Piccadilly Gardens and Oldham town centre to watch the event on big screens, while residents elsewhere kicked the weekend off with the first of Greater Manchester's street parties. You can read our round up from the day here.

The royal family are expected to attend Big Lunch events as part of today's celebrations. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh will attend a party in Cranleigh; the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence will visit a community street party in Swindon; and Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will join a big lunch in Windsor.

Later on tonight, the King and Queen will join around 20,000 members of the public at the Coronation Concert at Windsor
