Cork 'still hungry' for more All-Ireland success

Méabh Cahalane has said her Cork team-mates are not happy with just one All Ireland title and are hungry for more success ahead of Sunday's showdown with Galway.

All-Star defender Cahalane however said the Rebels face a tough task in defending their crown when they take on the Tribeswomen in the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland senior camogie championship final in Croke Park (5.15pm).

It is a repeat of the 2021 final when Galway beat Cork by three points. However, Cork have gone on to contest each final since then, including winning the championship last year.

As defending champions, Cahalane is aware their may always be a "target" on Cork's backs.

The Munster side defeated Galway earlier in the championship 2-16 to 1-07, however, Cahalane is not taking anything for granted.

She said: "Ourselves and Galway know each other quite well - we played each a number of times over the last couple of years.

"We also know Galway are a very strong side and they seem to come alive when they get to Croke Park so we're under no illusions that it's going to be a tough test.

"We were really happy with our performance that day, Galway came to Cork and that day they were missing a couple of players.

"The last day when they played Tipperary they were much better and they had a very strong performance and finished
