A cordon is in place on a street in Rochdale this afternoon following a 'targeted' incident involving three men armed with weapons.
Police said the men arrived at Harland Way, in the Norden area, in a white Volkswagen Passat at around 10pm last night (Thursday). They were all believed to be armed.
They then confronted a man - aged in his 30s - and threatened him. They went on to damage his vehicle.

The suspects fled the scene in the direction of Redfearn Wood, police added. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
A probe is now underway following the incident, which was believed to have been targeted. A stretch of Harland Way remains taped off, with investigations ongoing at the scene.
Some residents who live within the cordon have been told to stay in their homes and not to leave, while others who have left are not being allowed back in.
Detective Inspector Sam Taylor, of GMP Rochdale CID, said: "We are in the early stages of our investigation, we have information to suggest that this is a targeted incident. I would like to reassure the public that we are treating this very seriously and doing everything we can to protect residents and investigate this incident.
"We understand the impact this incident will have had on the community but can reassure members of the public that we are committed to keeping people safe, and part of that is removing weapons from our streets. There is a scene in place on Harland Way and extra patrols have been deployed to the community and will remain in place until initial enquiries have been completed.
