Conor McKenna emulates Tadhg Kennelly as Brisbane Lions maul Sydney Swans in AFL Grand Final

Tyrone's Conor McKenna has joined Tadhg Kennelly in the exclusive club of All-Ireland and AFL champions after his Brisbane Lions thumped Sydney Swans 120-60 in today's Grand Final.

The Eglish man, who won Sam Maguire in 2021, was introduced as the Lions' substitute in the final quarter, winning two marks and having three kick disposals in front of a crowd of 100,013 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Kai Lohman and Callum Ah Chee scored four goals apiece for the winners, while Luke Parker was the Swans' top performer with three.

Will Ashcroft, son of Lions great Marcus, became the youngest ever winner of the Norm Smith medal for 'best on ground' (man of the match) at 20 years old.

"Losing last year by a kick [and] to come home like we did, I'm so proud of this club and this group," said Lions co-captain Lachie Neale, before accepting the trophy for the club's fourth title win.

Swans skipper Dane Rampe said: "We fell short today, but we should
