Conor McGregor's sister Erin recalled a story from the family's days pre-fame in an emotional thank you message after he surprised her by showing up at her birthday party.

The former two-weight UFC champion has been globe-trotting on his new Lamborghini yacht with family away from Ireland as he continues recovering from a broken leg. But he surprised his sister by showing up at the last minute to her 41st birthday party over the weekend.

Erin, who rose to fame of her own on the Irish version of Dancing With The Stars, was celebrating her birthday with family and friends at her brother's Black Forge Inn when he arrived unannounced. The fighter has been on a glitzy holiday, and wasn't expected home in time for the event.
