Conor McGregor reacts to Tom Brady's NFL comeback

UFC star Conor McGregor has voiced his support for Tom Brady after the iconic quarterback announced his return to the NFL.

Conor McGregor is, unsurprisingly, a pretty big name within the combat sports sphere – but his scope of influence extends far beyond that. ‘The Notorious’ is close friends with a string of notable celebrities and fellow athletes, with Tom Brady being one such example.

The two men have followed each other’s careers over the course of the last few years with McGregor even showing up to the Super Bowl in 2019. In response, Brady has also been there live to see the Irishman compete inside the octagon.

Just six weeks ago Brady revealed to the world that he would be retiring from American football after more than two decades in the sport. In that time he was able to win seven Super Bowl titles, establishing himself as the most successful player in the history of the game.

Now, however, the 44-year-old has opted to come back and have one final run with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After hearing of the news McGregor praised the veteran for his ‘champion’ mentality and also highlighted his Irish roots.
