Conor McGregor Promises Fans He Will Stop Drinking And Return To Training In Honest Instagram Post

He's shared a number of posts from his Black Forge Inn pub in Dublin over the last few weeks, but 'Notorious is ready to get down to business.

McGregor said on Instagram: "Forged Irish Stout is now the clear leader in stout sales for us! All of us in this industry know, for a stout to do this is just unprecedented! Incredible!

"The fact it happened for the first time on that day in particular, I feel it a sign that I am on the right path here with all of this! Onwards and upwards we go!

"For my fighting fans, I want to say I know I am enjoying myself with my liquid, but very soon I will be immersing my self in full training again with complete abstention from my wonderful creations of spirit and ale.

"Just 5 more minutes Ma."

McGregor should be back by the summer and a number of big names are ready to face the former 'Champ-champ.'

Lightweight champion Charles Oliveira has made it no secret he wants to face McGregor, despite two losses to Poirier in the last year.

The Brazilian defended his title against Poirier at UFC 269 last month and is on an impressive 10-win fight streak.

Gaethje earned his shot after defeating Michael Chandler in an absolute war at UFC 268 in November.

McGregor hasn't held the lightweight title since 2016 after defeating Eddie Alvarez.

He was stripped of the championship due to inactivity and never successfully defended his belt.

Potential summer opponents include a fourth match with Poirier as well as showdowns with Max Holloway and Chandler.
