Conor McGregor keeps on getting more stacked despite UFC return edging closer

Recent images of Conor McGregor in extremely good shape has given fans hope of a potential imminent return to the Octagon by the Notorious.

While McGregor may have been out of fighting action for over a year since his leg break against Dustin Poirier last July, the 34-year-old has clearly not slacked on his training, showing off his chiselled physique on his social media platforms.

Taken from a birthday celebration in Ibiza for McGregor, the birthday boy posted a series of snaps of himself topless on a power boat on Instagram, tagging the post: “Traps for days call me ambush.”

This caption clearly references his famously impressive shoulder physique which is on show front and centre in the latest pictures.

While the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion looks to have some serious muscle packed on in his posts, fans have noticed that the Irishman has actually been trimming down to achieve a more ripped physique.

Over the past year, McGregor was reported to have ballooned to 190lbs as he recovered from his leg break and proposed the idea of returning at welterweight. However, fans have commented on his recent Instagram post believing that the Irishman has decided to trim down, giving fuel to the excitement that McGregor may soon make a return to action at lightweight once again.

Comments on the post showed that fans thought the same thing regarding McGregor’s ripped physique, with comments such as “looking like a 155 body to me” and “155 pounds?”
