Connacht come up short against Glasgow Warriors
Connacht came up short in their deferred URC clash with Glasgow Warriors this afternoon at Scotstoun Stadium.
The home side took a 17-5 lead into the break with Connacht having led at one stage through a David Hawkshaw try.
Sebastian Cancelliere and Ben Afshar crossed the line for Glasgow in the 21st and 31st minute.
Hawkshaw touched down for a second time a minute into the second period but Cancelliere did likewise for Glasgow to maintain a 22-12 lead.
Piers O'Conor’s try ensured a losing bonus point for the Irish province while Finn Treacy made his debut for the westerners midway through the half.
They remain 14th in the URC table after a seventh defeat in 10 matches.
