Confident Pitso 'looking forward to defeating' Raja as Al Ahly target Champions League semis

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane is confident his charges can finish off the job against Raja Casablanca and secure their passage to the CAF Champions League semi-final.

The Red Devils clawed their way to a 2-1 victory in the quarter-final first leg against the Moroccans in Cairo courtesy of goals from Amr El Solia and Hussein El Shahat, while Mohamed Zrida claimed a crucial away strike.

Speaking to the media ahead of the return clash, Mosimane is ignoring any referee complaints from the first leg despite cries from Raja's management.

"I don't care about commenting on the referee; I only care about my work, we won the first leg, and we will try to win tomorrow and return with the qualification ticket to Cairo," said Mosimane

"We expect Friday's game to be a tough one, as we will be playing against an experienced team with great history. Therefore, we are fully concentrated on the game," Mosimane told journalists.

"We were able to defeat Raja in the CAF Super Cup and in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

"We will be looking forward to defeating them tomorrow and qualifying for the next round."
