Confident Chantelle Cameron ready to rumble in Katie Taylor rematch

Chantelle Cameron is confident that she will make it two from two when she takes on Katie Taylor in their rematch for the undisputed world super-lightweight title.

The English fighter inflicted a first professional defeat on Taylor in May, and she is ready for a repeat performance when the two come face-to-face, once again, on 25 November at Dublin's 3Arena.

A return to the same venue, and a similar outcome is the prediction of the reigning champion, who maintained her 100 % winning record (18-0) with the win over Taylor.

And Cameron is out to prove that the victory was not a flash in the pan, stating that she will be even better when the two fighters lock horns in the Dublin rematch.

"I don’t think it was that much of a close fight where it needed a rematch to be honest," Said Cameron, speaking on Matchroom's Flash Knockdown podcast.

"There were a few close rounds but I comfortably won. I’ve done it once, I’ve got to do it again and prove it wasn’t just an off night for Katie… But I wasn’t at my best either, that’s what motivates me.

"This fight is going to be completely different. As much as I respect Katie out of the ring, inside those ropes there’s zero respect. I have a bit of spite for this and I’m going in there to cause damage. I know how to beat Katie, I know she can’t hurt me. I’m bigger, stronger and I’m going to be a lot more aggressive."

Cameron does not believe that she got the right recognition for the victory, bringing her belts to Taylor’s home turf, before securing a majority decision win over the Irish superstar, however, she will enjoy the honour of walking out second for this fight – a concession that she happily handed to Taylor in the last match due to the prestige of fighting as a professional for the
