Commanders' Terry McLaurin (knee) carted off in loss to 49ers - ESPN
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin was carted off the field with a knee injury late in the first quarter of Washington's 23-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night.
An air cast was put on McLaurin's left leg before he was placed on the cart.
He was injured while running a route on third-and-9 with 2:16 left in the quarter when his left leg appeared to buckle as he cut near the Washington sideline. Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was sacked on the play.
McLaurin caught a 27-yard pass on the Commanders' first drive, leading to a field goal. He is second on the team in receptions with 15 and has a team-high 230 yards receiving, with one touchdown.
McLaurin, 31, missed Washington's Week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts after injuring a hamstring two days earlier, but he returned the following week.
He missed seven contests in 2025, snapping a streak of 72 consecutive games played. Before last season, he had been a consistent producer, with five consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, from 2020 to 2024.
The Commanders also lost defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw to a knee injury late in the first half, and he was ruled out for the game.
