Commanders' Luke McCaffrey, Marshon Lattimore exit hurt - ESPN

LANDOVER, Md. — Washington Commanders wide receiver Luke McCaffrey and cornerback Marshon Lattimore left Sunday's night game against the Seattle Seahawks with injuries and did not return.

McCaffrey suffered a shoulder injury on the opening kickoff. He was hit hard in the right shoulder after his 19-yard return and then landed hard on his left side.

His exit left Washington with only four healthy receivers for the game, with Terry McLaurin already out because of a quad injury. Two of those receivers, Chris Moore and Treylon Burks, were not on the season-opening roster — and both were first signed to the practice squad. Burks was elevated from the practice squad for this game.

McCaffrey has caught 11 passes for 203 yards. He's averaging 30.0 yards on 25 kickoff returns.

The injury news got worse for Washington in the second half when Lattimore suffered a left knee injury. With 13:33 left in the third quarter, Lattimore broke up a third-and-1 pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and did not return.

Fellow corner Trey Amos left the game earlier with a hip injury but returned. Lattimore has started every game this season.
