Collins Cup: Match-ups announced with Olympic medallists Kristian Blummenfelt and Hayden Wilde drawn together

The match-ups for the second edition of the Collins Cup have been announced ahead of this year’s event which takes place on Saturday in Slovakia. Inspired by the golf’s Ryder Cup, the Collins Cup sees three teams of 12 (six men and six women) racing for their team in a bid to win points.

Athletes can earn an extra half point for their team for every two minutes they win by, up to a six-minute victory which equates to 1.5 points. In the pick of the races, Olympic champion Kristian Blummenfelt will take on bronze medallist from Tokyo Hayden Wilde, with American Ben Kanute joining them.

Matchup six sees Anne Haug, Jackie Hering and tamara Jewett in the best of the women’s races.
