Cody Rhodes: WWE Fan gets slammed on radio for saying his return's been botched

Cody Rhodes made his sensational return to WWE at WrestleMania 38, beating Seth Rollins on night one.

Rhodes came into WWE as the most high-profile signing in at least six years, given that he was one of the key figures in AEW.

To be fair to WWE, they’ve made Cody feel like a huge deal since he’s been back, and he’s immediately come in as one of their top stars.

On the whole, fans have been impressed with Cody’s return thus far, but one fan definitely didn’t agree.

Appearing on Bully Ray’s Busted Open Radio show, one fan named Eric claimed that WWE has “botched” Rhodes’ comeback.

Rhodes has been back in WWE for less than two weeks, but Eric claims that WWE has already “dropped the ball” on his return, especially by having him wrestle The Miz on Raw this week.

The fan suggested that WWE had hot-shotted the match, feeling as if it was one that could have been saved for a pay-per-view.
