Clyde gifted 'ridiculous' goals to champions Stenhousemuir, so we'll take the point, says boss Ian McCall

Clyde boss Ian McCall is content to take a point from champions Stenny after his side gave away two 'ridiculous' goals in an enthralling draw.

Rock-bottom Bully Wee took the lead through Robbie Leitch's seventh-minute strike but were pegged back in first-half stoppage time when Edin Lynch got in front of his marker to turn the ball home from a corner.

And when Jordan Kirkpatrick pounced on Craig Howie's loose pass to fire home from distance in 66 minutes, Clyde had it all to do.

But captain Barry Cuddihy came to the rescue when he got on the end of Kian Leslie's cross - which was his first touch after replacing Jaze Kabia - to head in the equaliser five minutes later, which keeps them within a point of Stranraer, with two games to go to avoid the pyramid play-off.

McCall said: "Stenny are the best team in the league - as they have shown - and the two goals we gave them were just ridiculous.

"We had to work really hard for our goals. It's a great header from Cuddihy for the equaliser and great movement for the first one.

"Given the nature of the two goals we lost, I think it is a good point - but it is only a good point if we beat East Fife next week.

"The games are running out, but the games are running out for Bonnyrigg and Stranraer as well."

He added: "I thought Stenhousemuir were better than us for the last 15 minutes of the first half, but we started the game very well, got in behind quite a few times.

"Our best period of the game was when we went 2-1 down, but it was a criminal pass inside that allowed them to score their goal.

"After that, we were in the ascendancy.

"I was really pleased with young Kian when he came on. He's not been fit for a number of weeks.

"Kian has got great ability. Unfortunately, he
