Clippers' Brandon Ingram to miss start of season after surgery - ESPN
LOS ANGELES — Clippers forward Brandon Ingram will not be available to start the 2026-27 season as he recovers from a surgery that addressed a right heel injury and partially torn Achilles tendon.
Interim president of basketball operations Trent Redden said at Clippers media day Monday that doctors discovered and addressed the previously undisclosed Achilles injury while Ingram underwent surgery on his heel in May.

Ingram missed the final two games of the Raptors' first-round series loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers due to the heel injury before undergoing surgery.
The Clippers acquired Ingram and guard Gradey Dick from the Toronto Raptors in a trade for Kawhi Leonard earlier this month.

Ingram characterized his rehabilitation timeline as a «week-by-week thing» and said he won't «be participating in training camp much, but I'll be out there a little bit.»
«I'm doing well in my recovery,» he said. «I'm coming along. I've been in the facility for a little more than a month now. Getting on the court a little bit and getting stronger.
»I had been dealing with some pain throughout the year with the Raptors and especially coming down in crunch time. I didn't quite know what it was. Near the end of the season, we figured out what it was. We thought surgery was the best thing to do."
