‘Class signing’, ‘That’ll do’ – Plenty of Huddersfield fans react to Chelsea transfer agreement
Huddersfield Town have completed the loan signing of attacking midfielder Tino Anjorin from Chelsea, the Championship club have confirmed.
A graduate of Chelsea’s academy, Anjorin has already made five first-team appearances for the Stamford Bridge club.
The England youth international spent the first-half of this season on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow, scoring once in nine appearances for the Russian club.
But that loan spell was cut short earlier this month, with Anjorin having been blighted by injury during his time in Russia.
It had been reported recently that Southampton were keen on a permanent deal for the 20-year-old, but Anjorin has now instead joined Huddersfield on a temporary basis until the end of the campaign.
With the fitness issues that blighted Anjorin during his time in Russia still not fully fixed, the attacking midfielder is now set to complete his recovery at Huddersfield, where he will link up with another Chelsea loanee, in the form of Levi Colwill.
Anjorin becomes Huddersfield’s second signing of the January window, after goalkeeper Jamal Blackman joined on a deal until the end of the season earlier on deadline day.
Taking to Twitter to react to news of Anjorin’s arrival, plenty of Huddersfield fans were keen to give their thoughts on the club’s latest signing.
Here, we take a look at what some of those Terriers supporters had to say.
