Clare rally to beat Wexford in All-Ireland quarter-final thriller

Aron Shanagher's 67th-minute goal clinched a dramatic victory for Clare against Wexford to book an All-Ireland semi-final date with Kilkenny.

Wexford looked on course for victory when Lee Chin pounced for two goals in three second-half minutes to help them into a six-point lead.

But the Banner County produced a brilliant late riposte, scoring 1-05 without reply with Shanagher’s goal putting them back in front.

Wexford reduced arrears to two points in injury-time but Clare finished strongly to advance to an All-Ireland semi-final against Kilkenny on 2 July.
