Christy Ring/Nicky Rackard/Lory Meagher round-up

Derry powered to an impressive 2-20 to 0-11 win against Sligo at Markievicz Park in round 2 of the Christy Ring Cup on Sunday.

Gerald Bradley's goal just before the half-time break gave the Oak Leafers a 1-07 to 0-08 lead. By the 56th minute they'd stretched that advantage to nine points, 1-16 to 0-10, and another goal late on put the seal on a strong performance.

In the Nicky Rackard Cup Roscommon had too much for Warwickshire.

The Rossies eased to a 3-26 to 1-14 win at Dr Hyde Park, with Cathal Dolan, Mickey Joe Egan and Benny Mulry all rattling the net for the hosts

Donegal edged a cracking game against Armagh 1-22 to 2-14 to in Letterkenny.

Donegal led by a point at half-time and took control on the turnaround as Ronan McDermott goaled. They couldn't shake the Orchard County though, with Danny Magee's goal with nine minutes to go leaving just three points between them.

Donegal found some scores when they needed them however to see it out.

Tyrone made it two wins from two as they got past Fermanagh 1-18 to 1-14 at O'Neills Healy Park.

They were 1-10 to 0-06 up at half-time but Fermanagh rallied well to make a game of it. Ultimately the Red Hand were able to keep them at arm's length.

In the Lory Meagher Cup Leitrim hammered Cavan 4-16 to 1-10 at Kingspan Breffni, Louth were beaten 5-12 to 3-11 by Monaghan in Darver and on Saturday Longford recovered from a seven-point deficit to defeat Lancashire, 0-17 to 1-12 at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
