Christian Pulisic has been namechecked in a pitch to prospective Chelsea bidders as potential Roman Abramovich successors have been told the club can double its revenue.

Nick Candy, a consortium led by LA Dodgers part-owner Todd Boehly and British businessman Sir Martin Broughton is considered the most serious contender, while claims of a £2.7billion offer from Saudi Media Group emerged at the start of the week.
New York-based merchant bank Raine is giving Chelsea guidance throughout the process, along with the Premier League and the government after they placed sanctions on Abramovich following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Bidders have been given a deadline of Friday to submit their offers supplying all parts of a checklist, which has been provided predominantly to prove they have the required funds.
