Christian Pulisic’s father, Mark Pulisic, appears to have taken a dig at Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel in a recent cryptic tweet, potentially throwing his future at the club into doubt. The USMNT international has struggled to become a consistent feature in the first-team since joining the Blues.
The 23-year-old has made 19 Premier League appearances this season, scoring five and assisting once in that time. It was only just over one month ago that Tuchel was full of praise for the forward, when he hit a vein of goal-scoring form.
He said to the official Chelsea website: “Christian (Pulisic) was in the same situation as Kai (Havertz). Both of them took the responsibility for the turnaround, so it is their responsibility, and they deserve the credit. They did amazingly and you can see it on the pitch.”
