Christian Horner's wife Geri 'frustrated' as F1 chief fights to keep job amid row

In fresh updates about Christian Horner, the Red Bull chief finds his career hanging by a thread following heated discussions with Max Verstappen.

The 50-year-old had earlier been absolved of any improper conduct after a probe within the team, just before the Bahrain Grand Prix last week. The investigation followed accusations from a female worker. However, leaked messages reportedly exchanged between Horner and a team member only heightened the spotlight on his role, merely 24 hours after he was given leniency.

However, fresh reports from The Sun suggest that Geri is having a tough time dealing with the fact that the woman who levelled accusations against her husband still works at Red Bull and hence, can interact with Horner. It is believed that Geri is adamant about wanting the employee 'out of the scene', reports the Mirror.

A source talking to The Sun shared: "It's frustrating for everyone and ridiculous to try to maintain business as usual in the circumstances. Something has to give." An F1 trade magazine is set to run a 19-page study looking into the situation surrounding Red Bull's team leader, Horner. The article is also set to document issues at the top of Red Bull Racing's hierarchy for its 5,000 readers. However, sources close to Horner have dubbed the story as 'full of inaccuracies'.
