Chris Willock starts: How we expect QPR to line up against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night

Wednesday evening offers up an enormous game in the Championship play-off race with Queens Park Rangers travelling to Nottingham Forest.

Rangers addressed a run of just one win in eight with a huge 2-1 victory at Luton Town on Sunday, the West Londoners trailed for an extended period before Andre Gray and Rob Dickie turned the match on its head in the closing exchanges.

Forest continued their upward trajectory with a straightforward 4-0 win over relegation-threatened Reading, and will be relishing the opportunity to take on a top six rival under the lights at the City Ground.

Jack Colback scored a memorable late equaliser in the reverse fixture as the Reds snatched a point from the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Here, we are predicting three changes from the side that conquered Kenilworth Road to line-up against the Reds…

Mark Warburton’s natural instinct, against his former club, could be to fight fire with fire and in that some attacking alterations could take place.

The three changes are as follows: Albert Adomah replaces Moses Odubajo, Sam McCallum comes in for Lee Wallace and lastly Chris Willock steps in for Jeff Hendrick.

When able to do so, Willock will always start for QPR, Adomah has produced some excellent displays at right wing back this season and his experience could be crucial against his former club, and finally McCallum offers a far greater attacking threat at left wing back than that of Wallace.

Bringing in Willock could see Stefan Johansen revert back to partner Sam Field in central midfield, giving Willock and Ilias Chair the licence to drift around and look to create shooting opportunities between the lines.
