Chris Sutton whips out Kris Boyd cardboard cutout as Celtic hero trolls with epic 'Rangers are coming' prank

Gloating Chris Sutton couldn't resist one last troll of Rangers hero Kris Boyd to round off the season as Celtic prepared to lift the title.

The demolition of Kilmarnock in midweek was the perfect preparation for Brendan Rodgers' side ahead of their final league game of the campaign against St Mirren - with the three points at Rugby Park enough to crown them champions. It means it was a day of celebration in the sunshine at Celtic Park - and Sutton couldn't resist a swipe at his Sky Sports sparring partner after a season of spats.

This time Celtic legend Sutton brought his own Boyd into the studio as he attempted his best impression of the Ibrox fan favourite. As Sutton prepared to leave the punditry desk pre-match to take over commentary duties, the Celtic hero already had a replacement lined up as a cardboard cut-out of Boyd was handed to him.

With fellow pundits Neil Lennon and James McFadden bursting out in laughter, Sutton said: "This is my replacement. I wouldn't want him to and celebrate Celtic's title success."

He then put 'Kris Boyd' in front of his face and did an impression. He said: "The Rangers are coming. The Rangers are coming." James McFadden chimed in: "That is the most sense Boydy has made all season."
