China’s short-track gold medallist Ren Ziwei disqualified days after South Korea’s ‘bias’ protest

Hwang Dae-heon has claimed 1500m short-track speed skating gold at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics as the roles were reversed amid South Korea’s protest against alleged bias towards China.

The 22-year-old was disqualified from the 1000m, won by China’s Ren Ziwei, who was disqualified from the 1500m on Wednesday night.
