Chiefs' Travis Kelce now No. 2 among TEs in receiving yards - ESPN

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs star Travis Kelce reached another milestone in his illustrious career Monday night against the Denver Broncos, passing Jason Witten to move into second all time in receiving yards for a tight end.

Kelce, 36, reached the feat in style, too.

Late in the third quarter, the 13-year veteran caught a short pass against the Broncos' blitz, broke a tackle and sprinted up the field for a 59-yard reception, the longest completion of the game to that point for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Following the highlight play, Kelce's wife, Taylor Swift, and his brother, Jason, celebrated together in a suite inside Arrowhead Stadium.

Entering Monday's game, Kelce needed 44 yards to pass Witten (13,046). He finished with three receptions for 71 yards in Kansas City's 31-10 win and now stands at 13,073 yards for his career.

Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez has the most yards ever for a tight end with 15,127.
