Chemical Brothers confirm Manchester date for 2023 arena tour
The Chemical Brothers will be returning to Manchester for a date on their upcoming UK arena tour. They’ll play the AO Arena on October 27, among just a handful of other dates in the UK.
They’ll also play shows in Glasgow, Leeds, Dublin, Birmingham and one show at the O2 in London. The tour comes after Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands released their first new material in more than two years.

New track No Reason landed earlier this month, and is the first single to drop from a new album, due to arrive later this year. It will be a welcome return to the city, the place where the pair met while studying at the University of Manchester in 1989.
Drawn to the city because of its music scene, particularly clubs like the Hacienda, it was while staying at the Owens Park halls of residence that they cut their teeth DJing, playing their first gigs at the Owens Park BOP. They’ve gone on to sell 13 million albums worldwide, and headline festivals all over the world.
Here are the tour dates in full:
October 26 - OVO Hydro, Glasgow
October 27 - AO Arena, Manchester
October 28 - First Direct Arena, Leeds
November 1 - 3Arena, Dublin
November 3 - Utilita Arena, Birmingham
