Cheltenham horse racing results LIVE including Day 3 tips and best bets on the Stayers' Hurdle

We’re back again for Day Three of the Cheltenham Festival, with the Stayers Hurdle (3.30) and the Ryanair Chase (2.50) the centrepieces of what looks like a fiercely competitive day’s racing.

Shishkin will be seeking to rebuild his Festival reputation after an expensive blow-out in last year’s Champion Chase, but he looked back on song with a remorseless performance at Ascot last time out.

Flooring Porter will bid for his third Stayers’ crown, but he’ll have to fend off Irish pair Teahupoo and Blazing Khal in what looks like a wide-open renewal. Just as well we have the magic man Garry Owen to help us find some winners – both of his naps have come in so far this week, Marine Nationale (9/2) on Tuesday and The Real Whacker (8/1) yesterday.

He’s gone for French raider Gold Tweet (currently 10/1) in today’s big one - the Stayers’ Hurdle (3.30.) Follow us all day for the best tips from Cheltenham and every meeting.

On the undercard, Mighty Potter is the strong favourite for our first (1.30) the Turners’ Novices’ Chase and then we’re into the thick of the handicap action with the 23-runner Pertemps Hurdle (2.10). Later on, we have the Magners Festival Plate (4.10), Mares Novices Hurdle (4.50) and the Kim Muir Handicap Chase (5.30), which all have blockbuster big-race fields.
