The 2024 Gold Cup takes place this afternoon at Prestbury Park.

Galopin Des Champs is set to start this afternoon's race as the favourite to win the showpiece race. Trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Paul Townend, Galopin delivered a storming victory for the Irish duo last year.
