Chelsea: Tuchel questioned over 'surprise' £18m Stamford Bridge decision

Chelsea letting defender Marc Guehi join Crystal Palace last summer was a surprise, says Tom Barclay of The Sun.

The 21-year-old, who has been described as an “absolute tank” by Stoke City’s Josef Bursik, moved to Selhurst Park in an £18m deal and has not looked back ever since.

Antonio Rudiger will be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, while there are also doubts surrounding the futures of Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta.

You would have thought there’d be opportunities this season.”
