Chelsea Ousmane Dembele 'Interest' Amid Barcelona Uncertainty

Chelsea's January transfer window has not exactly been one to remember so far with Thomas Tuchel left largely frustrated with every pursuit.

Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Perisic and Niklas Sule have been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge, as have a number of left-backs, as the Blues look to contend with the loss of Ben Chilwell for the rest of the season.

Bolstering his attack was also on Tuchel's to do list, with a misfiring front-line led by record signing Romelu Lukaku continuously coming in for criticism.

One name the Blues targeted was Reim's teenage striker Huo Ekitike, one of French football's most exciting future stars.

Earlier this month, Foot Mercato, via HITC, claimed that Chelsea had made contact with a view to signing Ekitike in a deal that could reach €40million (£33.4million).

The 19-year-old has scored eight goals in 18 Ligue 1 appearances this term, only two fewer than Kylian Mbappe has managed in 23 games for Paris Saint-Germain.
