Tim Sherwood has completely played down Harry Kane making a shock switch to Chelsea in the summer transfer window. The Tottenham striker is once again being strongly linked with a move away from north London after last summer was full of speculation.

Kane looked set to leave Spurs in the 2021 summer transfer window, with champions Manchester City strongly interested in the England captain, but Tottenham were determined to keep hold of last season's Golden Boot winner. As well as this, ESPN reported recently that Chelsea were tracking his situation last summer.

With Romelu Lukaku struggling at Stamford Bridge, the unlikely prospect of a swap deal between Chelsea and Tottenham involving Kane has also been mooted. Sherwood, though, is sure that will not happen.
