The pre-Roman Abramovich era at Chelsea didn’t always showcase as many star-studded talents as you see now at Stamford Bridge.

Ever since Chelsea’s owner bought the club back in June 2003, the Blues have gone on to achieve incredible feats and attract some of the best players from across the world.

However, even before that club-defining moment, Chelsea were still a successful team and won several honours during the 1990s.

An FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup were all won by Chelsea players in the 90s, thanks to players like Gianfranco Zola, Gus Poyet, Dennis Wise, Marcel Desailly, Ruud Gullit and many more.
