Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Angers forward Mohamed-Ali Cho, however, they could face competition from current La Liga champions Atletico Madrid for his signature. The 18-year-old’s contract with the French club expires next summer.
Cho has emerged as one the most sought-after young players in Ligue 1 this season and according to Calciomercato a host of clubs including Eintracht Frankfurt, Marseille and AC Milan are set to rival Chelsea and Atletico for his services. Despite a less than impressive record of two goals in 28 games, the Frenchman has shown much promise with his pace and dynamism in the final third of the pitch.
The Blues reportedly see him as a potential replacement if the much-maligned Romelu Lukaku leaves the club in the summer after a disappointing first season back at Stamford Bridge.
