The director of football at Inter Milan has lifted the lid on Ivan Perisic's future amid growing interest from Chelsea ahead of the upcoming transfer window. The 33-year-old sees his contract at the San Siro expire at the end of the season and is yet to have committed his future beyond the summer.
Speaking to Dazn, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano, Giuseppe Marotta said: "We want Perisic's to continue here with us, for sure. We respect him. We’ll discuss at the end of the current season to make all the decisions."
He's featured 33 times in the Serie A for the Italian giants this season, directly contributing towards 13 goals. Perisic's impressive displays over the years have courted the interest of several top-flight Premier League sides, though he's never touched down on British soil.
