Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi could switch his international allegiance from England to Ghana in time for the World Cup later this year.
The Blues winger made his England debut during the Three Lions' 5-0 win over Czech Republic in March 2019 but could still make the switch to playing for Ghana. He would qualify to play for the African nation through his dad Bismark Odoi, a Ghanaian ex-pro who spent much of his career with Accra-based team Hearts of Oak.
It comes as Thomas Tuchel has been sent a tactical message by Blues icon Carlton Cole amid Romelu Lukaku's struggles at Stamford Bridge. And Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta could yet be allowed to leave the club on a free transfer, despite his contract being extended by a year.

Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta could still leave the club on a free transfer this summer despite the defender's contract being extended.
Barcelona have been strongly linked with a move for the defender, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season. But those plans may have been put on ice after it emerged the Spaniard has made enough appearances in a Blues shirt this season to trigger an automatic one-year extension to his current deal.
