Chelsea must block Manchester City's Raheem Sterling transfer trick amid Neymar PSG exit

In a shocking turn of events, it looks like Neymar Jr could be on his way out of Paris St German and headed to England. Despite the recent social media outbreak suggesting that Neymar reunites with Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea, reports suggest that Manchester City could be taking a serious look at luring him over to Manchester.

If the price is right, PSG could finally let Neymar go as they look to the future in their quest to win the Champions League trophy. His relationship with the Parisians hasn't exactly been all glitz and glamour. Back in 2019, the Brazilian openly admitted to wanting to leave the club for a return to Barcelona. Things didn't quite work out in his favour, but that didn't stop him from signing a four-year contract in 2021, extending his stay until 2025.

Chelsea may be looking for their marquee signing to mark the arrival of a new era, but Manchester City are also on the hunt for Champions League success. It'll be very interesting to see how this saga pans out - especially considering Chelsea's interest in Raheem Sterling. I guess Neymar's news could be a reason for City to sell Sterling to Chelsea, but Boehly mustn't rush this decision.

PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi is tight-lipped on where the club stand with their record-breaking signing. He tells MARCA,

"Neymar part of the new project or not? We can't speak about this in public as some players will arrive, some players will leave the club. These are private negotiations".
