Chelsea: Key figure could leave in shock Stamford Bridge exit
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel remaining at Stamford Bridge is not nailed on, believes Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.
There is a lot of uncertainty at the west London club right now as they prepare to be taken over by a new owner, and Bridge thinks it has put Tuchel’s future in doubt.
While Manchester United have now confirmed the appointment of Erik ten Hag as their new manager, they had been heavily linked with Tuchel prior.
According to multiple outlets, including the Daily Mail, the Red Devils were keeping tabs on the German given everything that is happening at Chelsea right now.
The European champions are set to be sold following the sanctioning of owner Roman Abramovich, a development that has thrown the club into chaos. Throughout the whole ordeal, though, Tuchel has claimed that he is still happy at Stamford Bridge.
“I’m still happy to be here, still happy to be manager of a strong football team,” the 48-year-old told BBC Radio 5 Live(via Sky Sports) last month.

While Tuchel has said that he remains content with life in west London, Bridge thinks he could still end up departing if Chelsea’s pending takeover drags on.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the Sky Sports journalist said: “Maybe not [Tuchel staying at Chelsea]. I mean, Tuchel’s handled the whole situation, I think, with Abramovich amazingly. He’s the one who’s just been sitting in the press conferences. It shouldn’t really be him answering certain questions, but it is him.
“He might turn around and say, ‘Look, is it going to be the same next season?’ I think it’s going to be tougher for Chelsea next season.”
If Chelsea are not sold before the summer, then you could not
