Chelsea: Kalidou Koulibaly's dominant highlights in Premier League debut v Everton

Kalidou Koulibaly got his Chelsea career off to a winning start on Saturday afternoon.

Koulibaly made his Premier League debut against Everton at Goodison Park.

And the Senegalese defender helped his side keep a clean sheet as they recorded a narrow victory.

The Blues won 1-0 courtesy of Jorginho’s penalty in first-half stoppage-time.

Koulibaly played his part as he picked out Ben Chilwell in the box with an incisive pass.

Chilwell was felled by Abdoulaye Doucouré and Jorginho made no mistake as he coolly planted his spot-kick beyond Jordan Pickford and into the bottom corner.

As well as playing his part in the goal, Koulibaly was a rock in defence as he dealt with everything thrown at him.

He was also very assured with the ball at his feet and picked out some impressive passes during his time on the pitch.

Unfortunately, Koulibaly did not complete the 90 minutes as he was forced off with cramp late on in the game.

But it was still a dominant performance by Koulibaly, who appears to have taken to the Premier League like a duck to water.

His dominant highlights from the match have been compiled by Twitter user @LSComps and they show just how impressive Koulibaly was. Watch them below…
