Chelsea goalkeeper Nathan Baxter latest to agree Hull City move

Chelsea goalkeeper Nathan Baxter has completed his move from Premier League side Chelsea to Hull City. The goalkeeper will once again spend the Championship campaign on loan at the MKM Stadium after agreeing a return to East Yorkshire in what is a huge boost to the Tigers' rearguard options ahead of the big kick-off.

Baxter made clear his desire to return to the club where he made 14 league appearances last term and has agreed terms after both clubs settled on a deal. Discussions were completed at the end of last month and the agreement also includes the option to make it permanent in twelve months' time

The 23-year-old has been in pre-season training with the Tigers as Shota Arveladze's men prepare for the new Championship that kicks off at the end of this month when Bristol City are the visitors to the MKM Stadium.

Before then, City kick their pre-season fixture off with a showpiece fixture against Fenerbahce on Sunday before travelling out to Marbella for their week-long training camp where they'll take on Brighton and Hove Albion's Under-23s followed by Malaga, and Arveladze will be pleased to be going with both Matt Ingram and Baxter within his ranks.

And by that point, the Tigers hope to have a string of new arrivals in through the door including Jean Michael Seri, who remains in talks over a move to the MKM Stadium following his release by Fulham.
