Chelsea fans hijack Ben Chilwell's social media as he goes on holiday with Mason Mount amid Man Utd interest

Chelsea fans have bombarded Ben Chilwell's Instagram account asking him to persuade Mason Mount to stay at the club amid Manchester United's interest in the midfielder.

MEN Sport understands United have reached personal terms with Mount over a move this summer. It is understood the attacking midfielder's dad Tony and agent Neil Fewings have held advanced talks with the Reds which have reached a positive conclusion.

A fee is yet to be agreed between United and Chelsea but the 24-year-old is said to be adamant about leaving Stamford Bridge this summer. Mount has not featured for the Blues since April due to a pelvis injury but he is still rated highly by the London club's supporters.

This has been evidenced by Chelsea fans' bombardment of Chilwell's most recent Instagram post from Thursday evening. The full-back uploaded some pictures from his holiday with the caption: "First few days."

Scrolling through the pictures you can see Mount is on holiday with the former Leicester City man. In one image he is pictured asleep in the back of a car while in another he appears to be paddle boarding.

Sensing this as an opportunity to try and persuade the English international to stay, Chelsea fans left several replies asking Chilwell to help their cause. Here are a few of their posts:
